An otherwise average human skeleton if not for the third arm sticking out from under his right shoulderblade. When performing magic, his skull cavity glows faintly. He tends to wear a navy wrap-around robe with gold trim that's wrapped tightly around his spine, in lieu of a waist.
The country of Rholand is a monarchy co-ruled by its mages guild, the House of Mages. And like the monarchy, the House has strong opinions on who is allowed to do what within their domain.
He is the eldest of three brothers, the youngest also having pursued magic in the hopes of prestige.
As a naga, Ten'et has scaly green skin, glowing green eyes and a long tail beginning at the waist. She has fangs and pointed ears. Typical for her kind, her ginger hair is both long and thick, reaching her lower back. Clothes are limited to tops, usually sleeveless and/or draped. She prefers and wears a decent amount of gold jewelry.
After killing the man who murdered her younger sister in cold blood, Ten'et found herself in a more fortunate position than she could have ever imagined: As a chancellor to the ruler Karlilay of Verdibos. The two were kindred spirits, women who were willing to go to war in the name of love, and yet when the battle was lost, Ten'et turned her back to her friend and once again returned to Earth.
Every planet in the universe is embodied by a "ruler," who has full control of the direction the planet is taking. In a galaxy consisting of 5 planets, 4 rulers come together to take care of the 5th planet after its ruler dies.
Ten'et was granted immortality through a device gifted to her by Karlilay, a metal contraption drilled into the end of her tail that gives it the appearance of being split.
Barely a teenager, Augustine has a stereotypical "young priest" appearance with blond hair, blue eyes, and white robes. His hands are typically covered with opera-length black gloves, hiding a pair of asymmetrical arm prosthetics made of life-imbued metal.
He always carries a pouch containing a tub or jar of flesh salve.
"Flesh salve" is a variant of meat wax, which is used to prolong the life of animal meat before it spoils. Flesh salve is most commonly used to reverse damage done to undead flesh without the use of dark magic, but may also be used to keep necrosis at bay on living humans.
Augustine is right-handed, but became ambidextrous after losing his arm.
There are two types of magic, life and death. Life is, should you believe the light priests, about upholding the natural cycle of bud, bloom, and wither; And should you believe the dark priests, death is about disrupting an inherently unfair system, as nothing lives equally.
After all, there are many reasons why one might choose to go against the current.
A young woman of 19. Her light brown hair is frizzy no matter her hairstyle, and she's typically found with images of flowers or other flora embroidered directly onto the skin of her right cheek, covering up a pre-death wound.
A pale draenei with lilac eyes and a high ponytail. She's rather tall.
The woman who would become inquisitor is an elf with warm, medium-toned skin adorned with a purple vallaslin invoking June. She has green, downturned eyes, and her black hair has changed quite a great deal since she left clan Lavellan - Most notably, she cut all of it off after a fight within the Winter Palace left her with a chunk of it missing.
For a mage, she fights quite close range, using hair-trigger elemental barriers to knock enemies back and following up with short-range spells.
Following the events of Trespasser, A'han adopted a new fighting style in which she would channel elemental magic through the stump of her missing arm, allowing her to mold it into various arm-like shapes for brief periods of time.
Her relationship with Solas was perhaps not the best for her.
This legendary beast is a small but sturdy equine with a coat made up of warm browns and almost zebra-like stripes. Both her mane and tail are short and unruly, and her mouth sports a pair of tusks, granting her a wild if not dangerous look.
Her eyes are said to be made of gold to tempt those weak of spirit.
Appears as a rather large leather-bound tome with blank pages. A person versed in demonic magic may trace a rune on the cover to access one of 200 book safes, decreasing in size the further into the tome you go. Three bookmarks - green, purple, gold - have later been sewn into the tome to aid the user in finding their items, as the book is a little tricky to navigate.
Writing in the tome with a writing utensil permanently disables access to that page's safe.
The tome and its contents are not impervious to fire, water, or the passage of time.
A somewhat-short scythe with a snath made of a whitish metal. Unlike regular scythes, the blade is lightly serrated and positioned at an obtuse angle, and can also fold in. The bottom grip is rather large as it conceals a motor; Turning it on causes the blade to vibrate.
Obtained through perfectly legitimate means, the weapon was either created by, for, or out of one General Reddock. The name only appears in relevant documentation in reference to the scythe itself, though according to those familiar with the organization it previously belonged to, the fact that it's named at all means it's unique.
A semi-transparent green crystal, attached to a black leather band to create a choker-style necklace. Though the crystal appears to have simple impurities at first glance, the fogginess and apparent cracks in the formation slowly move about in a way more resembling of an otherworldly storm.
Its origins aren't clear, but the crystal appears to enhance the wearer's perceptiveness to magic and allow them to interface with enchanted objects that might not otherwise respond to their touch.
